Well-reasoned points. Nice job avoiding the extremely online argument where "relationship security" and "food security" apparently mean the same thing.

The private desire to please oneself motivates apathy to any strict morality forbidding that self-pleasure. I suspect more so than any supposed rationality; see atheists and religion. The article on Russell is actually quite relevant to the

This comes across as posturing around internet drama. The article's subject demolished a plagiarist for ripping off the community they're apart of; not bad at all! Then the subject gets an interview where they talk endlessly about

"Reorgs do not solve the underlying problem" is a sentiment I agree with. However, this article has no insights. It darts from point to point and does little digging (basic pro/con analyses). Despite referring to "resear

This is especially true for religious art. Many think religion is not "apart of their culture" because they haven't learned their own history. A museum ought to show the newer generations the good parts of what came before; b

Your comments are great but your audience is inexperienced. Most of our experience is largely in pointless, online arguments and few serious real-life struggles. The latter scares the hell out of us so we run from the conflict and from our

In my experience, LLM's are bad at generating concise & witty jokes. They can randomly generate but that requires the the prompter to be a funny person to begin with.

IIRC, that Microsoft employee was acting alone, trying to pick a fight with ReactOS. He backpedalled when the community asked if he was representing his company. My guess is that his management chain heard about the drama he was creating,

This paper reads as a conspiracy theory. No peer review, dramatic conclusions, logical leaps abound. A quick google search reveals the author has an axe to grind against the current government of Ukraine. https://en.wikipedia.or

Your blog posts rise on HN because, from what little I've read, you don't mince words and you talk about the issues directly. Other big-names play word games and rely on the "I'm popular with the community" shtick t
