Nice lib. Though many of these things should simply be solved by browsers imho. As developer I simply want to render input with the type of phone and be good. Let those who provide the operating system/browser handle the details in a s

I once also solved an algorithm speed problem by porting our Rails App to jRuby. Worked like a charm!!!

I once did a web-project in Go just for the tooling. What I gained there was lost in the verbosity and the write everything from scratch mentality when it comes to webdev in Go.

I wish they could get Ruby working in Atom out of the box. I still can‘t believe how weak the tooling is in the Ruby on Rails world. Even Jetbrains fails miserably. Why on earth can‘t we have decent code completion in Ruby?! If the human br

Wow. Someone deleted my comment without any notice or whatever. What kind of practice is this here on HN? I was not offending the author or someone else. I was just criticising the size of the repo and the number of tools that are required

Looking at the bloated and checked in node_modules folder makes me wanna cry. Yah it's probably all just dev dependencies but building a static website shouldn’t feel like rocket science. People were creating wedding websites in the 90

This might come a little Off-Topic but I really like the idea of having a decent native macOS editor. Textmate gets so many things right when it comes to ease of use and making the developers life a bit easier. Currently neither Sublime, A

Great to see things moving forward in the Textmate domain. I’m currently also planning to setup my site in Jekyll or Hugo or something. Apparently I want a blog with static site features. Allan, your changes sound awesome but I srsly hope t

Had the first RAZER back in the days. I loved how it felt. The metal case, the colorful screen, it even had a small screen outside showing the amount of missed calls/messages/connection. This was really one of the best phones I ev

As I’m exclusively using iOS and macOS I simply use Apple Notes.app. It syncs and you can even collaborate with other apple notes users. EDIT: not to forget the Apple Pencil support it brings.

You can try out the new Celeste Theme. I personally also like Espresso Soda and Katzenmilch for lightness. There's also an XCodeish theme available or the Base16 ones are also great.

Wanted to share this article. I'm currently enjoying Ruby/Rails more and more again and I really appreciate all the effort people like Matz, Tenderlove, DHH and many others in the community are putting into the ecosystem.
