I was't planning on leaving Evernote after many years of use. But I went to do a full export yesterday, just in case. It locked up mid way through four times in a row, 3x after fresh reboots. Now I'm planning on leaving Evernote.

"Stories are powerful and can be used to effectively cage us ..." Stories are one rhetorical device that a service like boringreport.org can shield us from. But that certainly does makes content more boring, which leads to consumi

I have a good mechanic. A bunch of locals discovered we have a good mechanic in the neighborhood, and the guy got too much work and had to stop taking new customers. As an old customer he still works on my vehicles, after a month or so on h

A half cow fits comfortably in a medium sized upright freezer. I'm considering trying to also fit in half a lamb, but it would be close. As infrequently as I go into it, the upright is as efficient as a chest freezer, but saves more sp

Yes, buying in bulk is just cheaper. The rancher makes about two phone calls per cow to round up his customers, then delivers it straight to the processor. I drive about 250 miles to the processor to pick it up. There are no grocers or tran

I cook 99 out of 100 of my meals, and 9 out of 10 meals I cook in a small counter-top air-fryer. The whole gadget costs less than a good pan. That 10th meal is probably eggs in a non-stick pan, so that pan lasts years longer now. I bought a
