I mean you don't want really want to use javascript for the backend anyway... What's the problem with just using vite and any backend of your choosing?

this was about the $5 wrench not about the tracing of it and sure you can know the origin but you don't know the final destination.

Seems pretty similar to be. I do not like people, but I don't dislike talking to people. Speculation: What you actually like is independence, not being bound by others or being chained by those around you - the feeling of freedom. Howe

Except that there is a huge trusted network for this. The world does not revolve around americas and europe. Not everyone has issues cashing out millions of crypto from a bank. This has been especially prevelant with countries that host a l

yep, no mention that re-advertised prefixes would be withdrawn again as well during the entire impact even after they shut it down.

This blog post is inaccurate, the prefixes were being revoked over and over - to keep your prefixes advertised you had to have a script that would readd them or else it would be withdrawn again. The way they seemed to word it is really dish

I actually cannot use my monitor without nightshift, any white page just makes my eyes water, painful even. I had it off for a day when I switched to linux and immediately my eyes started drying out. Safe to say it works for making your eye

paypal is still around? I haven't seen any "accepts paypal" / paypal / checkout with paypal since around 2023 and the realization of it makes me unreasonably happy.

I tried to implement a minimal server just to realize that there is still no way to do so in java 21... I stand corrected I guess it was recently added: https://docs.oracle.com/en/java/javase/25/docs/

I did mention that, but for a lot of things it is not enough compared to a full http client most stdlib's have. HttpClient was introducted for a reason.

Kubernetes solves real problems for the 1% who need it. The other 99% are paying a massive complexity tax for capabilities they never use, while 87% of their provisioned CPU sits idle. is where the author is just wrong: - abstracts away ssh
