Check out shopgoodwill.com. I get everything there. Most clothes are incredible value, and even with a few duds in the mix, it's way better (for my wallet, and the environment) than buying new at retail.

I wondered the same - most of them seem to recover. I think they are helped by their narcissism, in other words, their self-confidence is unshaken by the shame that would cripple "normal" people in a similar situation. E.g. Kaavya
