I'm gonna be that guy - I prefer the appearance of the blue version. Things stand out more, it's seems easier to parse. The grey looks all washed out and nothing really sticks outs. The layout of the right-hand panel is an improvement thoug

I'm always hazardous when building something on someone else's infrastructure. If they can shut down your entire income stream "just because", that probably isn't a good situation to be in.

I don't know how to feel about this. I've commented many times before, warning others about the .io domain and the consequences they'll face with ranking on Google. Now that won't be a problem. But let's face it, .io will never be as 'accep

There's only one logical outcome: we need to introduce the !really-important marker.

Back when I was a lowly customer services rep for an online store I replied to a customer email with that spelling. She did not see the funny side..!

From the little explanation offered, this sounds like a great idea. I'm often going to the cinema by myself because none of my close friends are into the same movies as me. Plus there could be room to expand into different niches with it, l

That's disappointing to hear. I was a few days away from pulling the trigger on one of these but maybe I'll just lump up for the 13" MBP retina after all.

Some of the articles surrounding this seem to hint that the app was failing. Is this true? Furthermore, kudos to the founder for creating this thing at such a young age, but is he really going to have a space at Yahoo?

Agreed. There's been a few of these plugins and saas offerings recently, and neither of them feel quite right to me.

Great looking site, good font, and an invaluable collection of resources. But the name is confusing - the .js in it suggests it's a javascript library to me? Also your github link 404s.

I used to go down the repository/unit of work route but I found that just adds loads of unnecessary abstraction and complication. Now I simply expose the data context through an interface and inject that into my controllers. For testing I u

An excellent idea and I'm sure there's definitely a gap for it, as long as you're a decent and enthusiastic reviewer and writer.

Why make this a pay monthly thing? You should offer a block of uses on a pay-as-you-go scheme, like 20 uses for $10.

The internet is great. It's like burying one of those time capsules full of stuff that was important to you at the time, then digging it up 20 years later and marvelling at your naivety.
