That was fun! The first one I got wrong was: "80,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 gorillas vs Saturn". Good fun!

Hmm... For a work project I'd like to parse a bunch of our SQL files and make a data lineage report. I looked into ANTLR4 to do it, but it seemed to heavy and slow (could very well be my understanding of it). I wonder if tree-sitter wo

I also struggle with this. As such I've tried doing little things to stop the infinite scroll. I don't use reddit anymore unless it is something I am actively looking into (e.g. a tech subreddit or something). I went through and u

Like smoyer said, I strongly suggest split hands. Way more ergonomical. I have two Mistel MD770's, one or work and one for home. I really like the keyboards but I think as long you get something that splits you'll be fine.

I remember seeing this article years ago and the idea has always stuck with me. I got gifted a sodastream not long ago and I'm tempted to just buy that long hose adapter that goes straight to the big CO2 containers.

Either way, it's stupid of them to do it. Only the naive think backdoors and spyware are only used by the "good guys" for legitimate pruposes.

I thought we (Australians) already had something similar to this done a few years ago? I remember being really annoyed that A) they could force us to install a backdoor and B) we can't talk to anyone about it. I guess this might be sli

I came to say this same thing. I have used my Jelly 2 everyday since I got it. At first it was kind of a novelty to me, but now it's just normal. People still comment on it when I use it for Google Pay. I would love to see more small p

The only thing we have really modified is the number of buckets allowed on the second tier from 10 to 100. So instead of having a number like 14.21, we'd have 104.21. The main reason is we have a category specifically for long term pro

Oh my god, the expiry date is an amazing idea. So much of our data is never updated, and forcing the creator to update it or delete it before the expiry date would clear up so much old and outdated information.

I personally use Obsidian and I love it. It has a great community (free) plugin you can use which will back your documents up to GitHub if you want. Unfortunately, I am bound in the software I can use for the task as we already have Conflue

Unfortunately I think we are stuck with Confluence. I don't have the sway to change software. To help with finding things we are using a slightly modified implementation of the Johnny Decimal system ( https://johnnydecimal.co

I have thought about doing some sort of auto generated documentation based on comments, I know some other languages do this. I shall look into this further.

I have used Notion before personally and it's a sweet bit of software. We're already an Atlassian shop, using Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence. Up until very recently we were barely using any of it but my team just moved from SVN to
