If you just want to show how it looks, there is an app called Pencil. It allows you to select different styles, one of them looks very much like a sketch. This prevents viewers to spend time on irrelevant details, as it's very clear

I used to have a command “vi” in eshell that basically ran find-file. It took some getting used to using Emacs keys after invoking a command vi, but it worked.

It's been "corrupting data" for 20 years now. What's worse: the 21st year of corrupting data, or immediately killing all those processes that used to be running fine yesterday? Or to put it another way: Let's say

I don't understand this sentiment. I understand Kotlin has more features than Java, and of course it's tough to call the advanced things from Java. At least so I would think.

On macOS I use Hammerspoon which I have configured to move and resize windows to specific slots. It's not the same as tiling but it relieves me from having to move windows around manually. On Windows there is Window Sizer or similar.

I don't find Safari inconvenient at all. Its UI is lean, the default key bindings are nice, and with sVim it's even better.

I'm surprised about the zsh mention. It seems to run under Cygwin mostly, right? I guess under MSYS2, as well. But there is nothing that mentions this specialty.

It's actually a valid question: Both Atom and VSCode are built on Electron, both provide similar functionality, and one is a lot faster than the other. (Or _was_ a lot faster than the other?) So it's valid to ask what did the VSC

I think residences in the US and residences in Europe are quite different, and especially the Netherlands are quite densely populated. I would say that the area that's used in the US to have a driveway would work quite well in the Net

Personally, I've found that the type of program I run on Windows does not lend itself well to tiling -- they all need to be pretty big to work well, and if I tile two programs, then on average each will be 50%, which is too small for t
