Sounds like an interesting approach to data exfiltration on an air-gapped system, provided the right pieces are in place.

You might also look at the Pinebook, 11" for $99. I'm considering one also.

I really wish they could commit to shipping the 1080p screen on the 11” model. I’d pull the trigger tomorrow. But as far as I know, there’s still no guarantee if you’ll get the 1920x1080 or the 1366x768 display. That’s a dealbreaker for me.

Since it seems you must work closely with this colleague, perhaps you could look for opportunities to improve together? Maybe taking a training course or attending a talk together or as a team? Maybe you could even give an internal talk on

Somehow I've been super lucky. I've got a Pi B+ that has been running nonstop in my garage for years as a security camera. It doesn't have any kind of battery backup, though power outages here are pretty rare. I've also

I also have been very happy with KDE Neon on my Dell Latitude 7370. The only downside is when I plug in a 4k and 1080p monitor, the system doesn't handle the multi-dpi setup.

FYI, macOS also runs under VMware Workstation / VMware Player (free for personal use), provided you patch the binary to allow it [1]. [1] https://github.com/DrDonk/unlocker

Is OpenBSD suitable for use on a laptop? I have a Dell Latitute 7370 running KDE Neon, and it runs really well. All hardware is supported, battery life is on-par with Windows, etc. Would OpenBSD work well on this laptop?

A few weeks ago? I drive a small SUV (Mazda CX-5), maybe the angle of the windshield in relation to the hood increases the chances of catching bugs?

What? When did it stop being an issue? Here in Ohio you most definitely still end up with bugs on your windshield.

I've noticed sometimes during the rush, the Ticketmaster app will report no seats available, but the website (sometimes after a few refreshes) will have seats, and vice versa. I had to refresh for probably 30 minutes the last time I b

Here in Ohio I've had the opposite experience, with the exception of the cost going up. I was one of the ones who would make my annual call to Time Warner to "threaten to cancel" in exchange for another year of discounted ser

Do you know if there is any kind of review process? For example, let’s say a core maintainer’s machine is compromised and the attacker submits a new package on their behalf. Does anyone else need to review and sign off on the new package?

I think it was AT&T that had a test number you could call to hear a higher quality phone call (I was pretty young at the time, so my memory is fuzzy). I remember it sounding very good, but that test number was the only time I remember h

I'd recommend testing a live image of KDE Neon. I loaded it on my Dell Latitude 7370 (distant cousin of the XPS 13) which has a 13" QHD+ touchscreen, and I'm quite impressed with the "out of the box" experience wit
