The excel bit is likely because multi core support isn’t on Mac just yet. If you opt into their latest beta channel for updates, it gets way better.

And this is ending with new releases, starting with Overwatch. And according to Blizzard it has nothing to do with money or market share, but with Apple specific technology. They've been the biggest supporter of gaming on macos, and wi

This is great, however there are a slew of games that should technically work on mac but won't ever be ported because of 'technical limitations' set by Apple. Those reasons could be any number of things like not having native

Yes, I mean other than that they are doing nothing. Vulkan and OpenGL are shunned by Apple and developers won't even port over games that should run on macos (i.e. any game using the unreal engine -- pubg for example).

They are doing absolutely nothing to bring back gaming to Mac. Major developers (like Blizzard) who have been loyal to that user base for decades are giving up and it feels like Apple isn't even trying to figure out a solution.

You're right I do live in a high COL area, and you're right, half of that would work elsewhere. No need to be in the city if you have a guaranteed income. Here's hoping remote work becomes the norm someday!

That actually sounds really cool. Honestly, even if Mongodb has all those features, I would much rather do everything on postgres seeing as I'm a hundred times more familiar with it than mongo.

Wow, I had no idea it could store jsonb. Any obvious advantages to using mongodb for nosql that I should consider? I’m way more comfortable with Postgres and would rather stick to that

Oh man, I thought you worked for remembear and were outing them! This makes way more sense. And yea, that's really clever, but you really think they'll still be trying this after posting about it publicly?

Someone needs to replicate this because it wouldn't make any sense for them to make use of them on day one rather than wait and accumulate. Since you're anonymous anyways, why not just tell us what you know? Are they breached or i
