Filesystem is essentially a "simple" database. If it is not performing, then it is not a good db. It shouldn't really matter how many files you have if metadata, and indexing of that metadata is done properly (i.e. like in go

My OS has hard dependency on python, so i'll always have working python environment. Also, i tend to run pip like 4-5 times max (except initial package installations) during whole project lifetime, or not at all if packages are in dist
