Login required? Why why why? Could someone copypasta the site somewhere login-less, pretty please?

This. When I get blank page instead of content - I usually ignore the site completely. I do have first-party JS enabled, so if the site is actually JS built SPA and it serves its own JS then it renders normally without me noticing anything.

All I can see is a blank page. That means needlessly excessive use of javascript. Is that really needed? Why?

I'd totally appreciate ability to turn all those silly animations off. Is it possible already?

"Last year, one study reported that digital video piracy costs the U.S. economy $29.2 billion a year." Well, I'd say that it in fact saves $30 billion a year. People can use it to buy more important stuff - such as food.

I've been using it for 9 months on laptop. I really love the idea. But had to ditch it and use ubuntu instead, because it routinely turned a 3-minutes-long-operation into 6 hours. I had to do work, not mess with configuration and read

As we can see again having github as a sole distribution mechanism was a bad idea. I hope they have backups and will be back online soon.

Like 24, 25 or 30 fps. Well below eye's Nyquist rate. Everything above that looks like garbage unless there was special care taken to look good or real reason to shoot at higher fps. Upsampling to 60fps seems like even worse idea becau

60fps videos look so bad to me, I'd really love to have possibility to switch to classic frame rates all the time. :(

Yes, animations really influence decisions. Mainly about using the particular piece of software at all (animations are no go for me and a lot of other people). Some folks do not have the luxury to spend hundreds of miliseconds to seconds ea

Well, I don't really think the Gnome is being reasonable since they've ditched 2.34 for 3.0 pre-pre-pre-alpha and started to shove their "supremacy" to everyone. I do really think this has nothing to do with normal commu

From the screenshots and gifs over there I can tell that someone is again forcing people to look at 1) animations 2) grey fonts instead of black and they are even bragging about it being beautiful. These also tend to enormously waste screen

Did they already add "turn off all animations and needless movements, fades and transparencies" option? I guess not, and I'd really appreciate it. KDE would became useful for me again. Seriously, I've booted live USB on

CMSIS is the most bizarre API i've ever seen. This kind of mixing ALLCAPS_WithUnderscores_AndCamelCase is like criminal. Also _Min_Heap_Size. And that is the reason i would never use it and i've always looked for alternatives. Now

I don't think this makes even sense to account. Try to look at internets energy consumption as a whole and how much of it "makes" sense and provides real value - tranferring memes, DDoSes, ADs and so. Look at all animated web

After trying the demo and comparing those two implementations I came to conclusion that I really like standard system scrollbars waaay more. Thanks for respecting my own settings and please don't style scrollbars.
