Are you aware that serving media streams over the tunnel might be against the ToS? This is what kept me from using it tbh.

Where would one get these MP3 files? Not everything is on Bandcamp and torrenting everything feels like a part time job, but maybe I just have too much music I like. I still remember spending days inside during summers as a kid, downloading

Vouching for Fiio. They make really nice stuff! Never tried their audio players but the few Fiio DAC's I have used all felt really premium, especially for the price.

Frankly I would worry about that with any third party that holds my data. There are a few Bitwarden exporters on Github that also account for attachments (something the builtin exporter doesn't for some reason).

Aren't you still going to be paying that Core Technology fee once your FOSS non-profit app gets popular? I guess you would have to get that waiver but that's far from trivial[1], especially for an individual that just likes to pub

And Netflix can't be installed (at least through the Play store) because of restrictions from Netflix' side (I suppose). But that's okay, I can just stop my subscription through the web interface.

Not everyone cares about the aesthetics of their tools or shares your sense of aesthetics (minimalism). Furthermore: OP and things like mousejack are exactly tbe reason why some people will not use a wireless input device. Keyboards are use

Well it's an important point, but I don't think the author of OP argues you shouldn't do that. By the way: have a look at restic, it's great (if you don't require a GUI).

As far as I know Omnivore is not a note app like Evernotes is. You could link Omnivore to your notes app to export highlights and such. I believe they maintain a plugin for Obsidian and Notion.

It's a bit more convoluted than just installing a browser extension but you could set something up with -for example- Archivebox: https://github.com/ArchiveBox/ArchiveBox/wiki/Scheduled-Arch...

Yeah, what is up with that? > John Bumstead, who works for a company called 404Media that fixes and sells used electronics. 404Media is a journalistic organisation ran by ex-Motherboard people. Who or what wrote this?
