I agree with you. Notifications is another “feature” I just want to stay out of my browser. To that extent, I actually don’t mind Safari on iOS being deliberately slow to adopt some of the more intrusive standards.

Aussie here. Very few employers here offer health plans. Medicare is more or less like NHS in the UK. If you earn more than a certain amount, you have to pay for your own private health insurance. It is significantly cheaper than in the US.

Agree. The state of Kubernetes increasingly reminds me of the complexity hell that is Java J2EE. It’s an ecosystem of vendors with a self interest in selling complex solutions to sell high margin consulting services on top. Thus was J2EE.
