I got into web dev because they didn’t sanitize your bio. You could stick whatever HTML in there you wanted! (Maybe they stripped out script tags at least, I don’t remember.) Edit: looks like others in this post had similar experiences :)

I bought a simple Apple charging cord on Amazon once. I clearly did not get an actual Apple product as it introduced severe buzzing to the computer’s audio output. Even tried several return-replacements. Same issues. No issues direct from t

I've been using web components now for years and I will do everything I can to never write frontends in anything else. I totally agree with point 2 though: the Polymer phase was very weird, but, as mentioned, https://lit.dev

I've been doing web dev for 20 years and Lit has finally allowed me to achieve my dream of what I've imagined web dev should've been like this entire time. Thank you for your work, please keep it up!

How does Copilot help you code faster? I've watched some coworkers use it but it appears to be more distraction than help, as they accept CoPilot suggestions and then have to rewrite it all anyway.

I've never had a bad experience with PayPal and there ain't no way I'm handing out my raw credit card info to another website so they can get hacked and leak it.
