A swiss news paper wrote something along "so far the main effects seem to be the rising prices of Swiss goods in America, not really a falling market" He is threating Switzerland with 250% tariffs on meds while his people still su

Not wanting is good. From Europe POV the countries got pressured into contracts that they know were bad. It's closer to a cold war situation than just "selling dept"

I find Cron to be one of the clearest and most elegant Syntax solutions out there. Like you only have to understand it once and can assume the rest from looking at it. That's super elegant

I don't see anything peeking after 95 when they invented the UX we still all kinda stuck with.

As Linux "gamer" it's almost always just the launchers that make(/made) issues rarely the game itself. More often than not did a proper crack that was a custom launcher basically fix "the whole game" for me.

I have that with all meta products. As soon as I sign up my account gets locked, then I can unlock it normally most of the time. After a few hours or any interaction it gets locked again. When I usually start to see broken UX where there is

Had one of the first 10k Minecraft accounts or so. Never changed the name or anything. When Microsoft bought it they spammed me that I would loose my account if I don't transfer it. So after the 3rd email or so I did. It got hacked a f

I don't agree. In many countries diet soda is the way more common thing at this point (sugar taxes) ex. Mainland Spain basically every soda except coca cola is based on sweetener instead of sugar. It turns out it's not the "o

I like the header idea but it's the wrong way around. Let's make the header a law, and then consumers can decide themselves.

You are to deep into the name finding, first you need to get some distance. Every name will sound shit before that. Then remind yourself that the name is not as relevant as we want it to be. If it's sounding and kinda rememberable that

I can tell how this would be implemented. Microsoft rolls their own awkward standard nobody asked for. Other major companies try to use a somewhat common standard. The Industrie enforces new rules and suddenly it costs $150000 and has awkwa

I also wonder why so many companies waste time and resources into AI apps now that they will either drag with them for years with a minimal user base or stop developing it all together. It's sounds so wasteful for their resources

Same here. Claude definitely can get very destructive if unwatched. And on the same note be careful to mention files outside of it's working scope. It could get the urge to "fix" these later.

In Europe we have a proposed or existing rule (unsure as I actually see just swiss shops doing it right now) that you have to show the price development for a product over the past X months. Amazon is almost always the most expensive option

Maybe it helps. I feel there is nothing a deployment could really break that 24 hours actively watching and hot patching couldn't fix. One day painful monitoring, but a big problem less :)
