Yes, backing up photos and videos is hard. However, if you do so professionally, you are probably better off not risking losing data so you should take precautions. If you are a hobbyist, it’s also cheaper for you to do so. The problem is l

Everyone should be looking for a backup strategy that involves at least a hot backup and a cold backup, with some sort of offline validation. However this is easier said than done (because now you've to deal with multiple file systems,

The best thing about Go is how things are designed thinking ahead in the future and avoiding hypes. Instead of a language with more features than one can count, we have something really concise, yet powerful. This is something I miss a lot

GDPR was born yesterday, and government intervention on such private matters can really cause a disaster. You want to have control over your data, and just to cite one case, Apple has started embracing it a while ago ahead of GDPR laws. Per

Adding this could add unintended consequences. This is not an easy to solve issue. In reality, this is something that a clear RFC should deal with (or does and I don't know).

Are you telling me that the BBC is impartial? No, it cannot be for two things: 1. It's a state-owned media company. 2. TV licensing is a tax in the UK owners of TV appliances must pay to support it. You also have to pay if you ever vis

Was the mainstream media ever objective or impartial? I find it appalling how people believe there is such a thing as unopinionated journalism. There's not, especially in a world where much media outlet income and even access to inform

When I cross a road I usually quickly look two or three times to check traffic, even when it's one-way. This way, I make sure that even if I'm in a hurry, I'll likely take a look at least once at each side.
