It's mostly clever way of doing manual moderation. No matter what you try, it all comes down to a guy reading another guy's post and moderating it. Nothing has really changed for 20 years. You might be interesting by this article on Edward

Being to select the chunk of text you interested would probably solve this issue. I wonder how Readability "selects" the "relevant" part of the page. Maybe it is just a smart heuristic about what the user want ;) Come from HN => must be

That wasn't my point. My point was that [:] conserves the type of sequence. Also [:] returns a reference to the existing tuple instead of a copy: >>> a = (1, 2, 3) >>> id(a) 3081276268L >>

reversed_list = list(reversed(orig_list)) This works too, and IS more readable. But this doesn't work for a string for example. I didn't stay to replace ALL slices with list(). Of course this wont work all the time. For instance [:] has nic

At my school there was a blind guy, he used Lynx to surf. Once I looked how he was surfing / coding. And he was incredibly slow ... "Normal" people scan the page. He could not, he had to more or less "read" the whole page. I did not see muc

JS interpreter is a negligible charge if the program running does not consume too much resources. Also JS makes the web less "accessible": Think about handicapped people who can't use IE / FF / Safari. Avoiding Javascript is one's personal
