If I could have a git API to glacier I would be happy. I have tried various glacier clients and they all seem to suck. So I have trouble tracking exactly what I have stored there sanely. :( Unusable.

Good post! Protocol Handlers aka chrome://settings/handlers are really really badly done or utilised. If there were done better, maybe we would see some more interoperability between the silos. I created an example showcasing

Wish there was a Web app to edit video. Upload to S3 and away I would go creating (jump cut) edits which would be fed to ffmpeg to dice up.

Speed isn't everything to me. I love the fact that for example view-source: http://natalian.org/2015/07/06/Bank_secrecy_in_Singapore/ is more readable than most blogs.

One option was to go down the Click-to-Play route which offers a HORRIBLE UX. Especially on Youtube which still uses Flash by default. Disabling Flash however, Youtube actually seamlessly falls back to HTML video. Well done. But I can'

It would be a lot simpler to do "transactional updates" by using Git FS like Webconverger does to roll out updates. That way clients can see the exact changes at https://github.com/Webconverger/webc and e
