Fr what sort of romanisation system uses an acute accent for that. It's much more akin to the latin flat accent. But in reality just leaving off an accent or using the u is more convenient for typing.

It would be nice if standup was actually about asking active questions only because then I wouldn't mentally fall asleep during it. In reality its almost always about just calling out names and hearing someone ramble until maybe you wa

I dunno when I run standup I am just as passive as when I'm part of it. I just prompt people to speak and then zone out if its not useful like every time.

YES. I remember watching day in the life of a se videos like 7 years ago when I was 18ish and vaguely considering the career (I didn't go for it and took a long route), and I remember distinctly that the whole point of stand up was tha

Would love to suggest this. Might be bold as a fairly new junior though haha. I do think these meetings would make far more sense if we only discussed things that people had issues with. If everyone's just rambling it's pointless.

This is a question I want to know - is anyone actually paying attention to everything during standup? It seems some people are, because they occasionally have insightful comments. Even when I'm not distracting myself, I totally zone ou

This idea is super old. There was a game like this that was popular like 10 years ago. This is a worse version.

Looked up the average commute in London workplaces. It's about 45 minutes so not far off. But it's largely train. Which is a bit less mentally tiring at least if you only have to do it a couple times a week and can avoid the absol

I think a good compromise is just partially remote. I 100% see the benefit of not being in the office every day. I like going in 3 times a week. My company has a policy that every person must come into the office 3 days on mode (so like, if
