You can disallow it in about:config: media.autoplay.allow-muted false …and even disable GIF animations: image.animation_mode normal …but if these became the default, people would come with arcane ways to bypass it.

Should be possible via PostCSS and something like https://www.npmjs.com/package/postcss-stylus-parser . Haven't tried it though, i've moved away from Stylus some time ago as it seemed to be pretty much dead.

Exactly, i wondered why it's showing some sort of a short month. Also, possible bug report: i've closed the tab (ctrl-w), then reopened it (shift-ctrl-t). It just opened a completely blank page. Firefox 63, nothing in JS console,
