One must think differently if you wanted to use a DLT/Bitcoin solution. It's not simply just a ledger. I'm talking about every data point that facebook has, to be hashed and competitively manipulated in a global market place.

I don't think publishing their rankings will help. The use case that I think is: A competitive marketplace to compete for the best use of encrypted data. Where each data point and evaluation has a 'cost' to the system and eac

Social media websites aren't private. I think in numerous court cases (at least in the US) even email is considered public. So, with that said, a DLT (dist. ledger tech; i.e. bitcoin) is a great solution for the problems facing a publi

Sigh...I disagree. ~17M Bitcoins. ~17M BCH coins. How many splits coming up soon from the BTC chain? 10k Nodes. Multi-million dollars invested into 'mining'. 0.0001 is at parity/value with the USD Dollar. How many people trad

Fair but context implies I mean CC, as another mentioned. Meaning, devoid of context, is difficult to create. So, please, keep this in mind when you're nit-picking on what you mean.

How do implications work? Are there lawsuits that have set a precedence?

I think the people are underestimating the power of what RPOW does. The tech/math behind the blockchain. If interested, I have a shameless plug for an article that might give added context to this crypto world, but I'm willing to

Hmm, reading your experience clarifies to me (a Maths guy) why current deep learning efforts are producing real fruit from their labor. Linear Regression and Vector/dot products are just constructs to re-create the evolutionary biology

I agree, it is a little pricy. Cost comes down over time. I don't know of any other service that is doing this at the moment. I hope within a year or so, we find an open source solution to this.

It's a bummer that it's a monthly service but $2 a month isn't bad to end the issue of robocallers. Thanks for the link. This is very helpful.

I don't like this idea one bit. We have a digital cash solution (crypto-currency) but there are too many hurdles to implement it (USA probably doesn't want to give up their de-facto status as the world's reserve currency and.

For what it's worth, my advice would be to get the sale done with conditions that you DON'T have to work for 2-5 years. If you have enough money to take a Sabbatical, then do it, 3 months or 6 months. I know many (mostly in academ

I'm not sure why I'm not being misunderstood. Math is boundless. Physics is bounded by natural elements. Math can help physics but very rarely would a bounded logic structure help the boundless. I agree with a lot of what everyone

That sounds bizarre. Pure Math is more theoretical and has less limitations than that of Theoretical Physics. Maybe this person you knew just went down the wrong path and should've focused on Theoretical Physics and not math.
