I've found the 2 bit quant of Mixtral 8x7B is usable for some purposes with an 8GB GPU. I'm curious how this new model will work in similar cheap 8-16GB GPU configurations.

What else in on the BOM? Volume? At that price you likely want to use whatever resources are on the SoC that runs the thing and work around that. Feel free to e-mail me.

This is a very nice presentation, the .sql file contains a lot of notes about the sourcing for the data. I could imagine adding test vectors to the database as well.

webOS was really nice, a lot of ideas that didn't come to iOS and Android until much later were present and nicely implemented back in 2010 or so.

I think it supports whatever SiliconCompiler supports (which is both FPGA and different ASIC flows) and the EBRICK example is showing how to put that design onto an ASIC or FPGA for testing. Edit: Here's the SiliconCompiler list: http

One thing the April changes break is forwarding between e-mail services. If you currently forward from say an old university address at foo@school.edu to a personal GMail account at bar@gmail.com that will no longer work. This must be relat

Whaling continued until much more recently. I knew a guy in the early 2000s that made his money in the whale oil business and he was around 70 at the time.

It's a little more than that, they then added subpixel and momentum scrolling support to Chrome that bypasses X11 and does something custom [1]. Integration problems like this one that require a bunch of coordination are harder to do i

No, he showed up way after founding, he might have been an advisor before though. I'm not sure what the founding CEO is up to now but he had worked in AMD's GPU group and might have met Keller during that work.

On top of this some Kepler support (for K80s etc) is still maintained in CUDA 11 which was last updated late 2022, and libraries like PyTorch and TensorFlow still support CUDA 11.8 out of the box.

This might explain why early optical mice used a grid patterned mouse pad. I had one from Mouse Systems and the mouse pad it came with was a metal plate printed with a fine grid pattern.
