One thing I can't understand, why would they make the blurred background on the Control Center lighter and put white text and controls on it?? Is this supposed to be customizable?

I find the posts and discussion in G+ communities (in general, I am no referring any specfic community) to be in general to be terrible in quality. For programming related communities, there are too many newbies who don't bother googling as

I would agree that the best way to learn programming is to program, not just following along, but find a real problem and try to solve it, but then again, I know a lot of people who kept getting stuck because of the fear of "doing it wrong"

I got mine more than a year ago in less than 30 mins. I was pretty surprised, since my student email address hostname uses a country-specific tld instead of .edu.

I share your sentiment. Their progress with the Cinnamon is really cool, and I am really tempted to switch, but at the same time, I don't want to miss out on their (hopefully) even more exciting work on future versions.

I am still running Mint 13 Maya LTS for now, and I don't really want to go stray from the LTS, but their work with Cinnamon is really tempting me. If they have put in windows tiling and the ability to dock the panel to the right, I would sw

One problem I had with the WP dev evangelists is that they seems stuck in the quantity over quality kind of mentality. I'm pretty sure today it is clear that the number of apps in the store is not important compared to say, what apps are in

The nicest thing about Sublime Text 2 is that I never have to remember the location of various options anymore. Open-Command Panel-Type what I want does most things I'll ever have to deal with menus for me. :)
