Sure looks like it. I'm not getting what's new or interesting here. Cursors are actually better because you can put any kind of sort order in there. This "lastEventId" seems to be strictly chronological.

That's cool, but doesn't it have the same problem? When you die or decide to stop paying, the website dies too.

I don't have enough experience with traits, but they also sound like a recipe for creating a mess. I find anything more than like 1 level of inheritance starts to create trouble. But perhaps that's the magic of traits? Instead of

Ya'all are very strict in your definitions then. My definition is "does it feel laggy" or "do I have to walk away and come back when this thing is done". Basically like 24 FPS or higher is real-time. Even that'

I just wish line breaks weren't allowed to be quoted. I would have preferred \n. Now I can't read line-by-line or stream line-by-line.

I didn't know about the formula injection, I just knew that Excel and Sheets mangle my dates every time and it drives me bonkers. Why is that the default ? It makes no sense.

Maybe try something with instant feedback? I'm not sure what precisely, but I'm picturing a split view with text on the left and the output on the right. I do this in web dev, React + hot reload is wonderful. For games, I've

If it was read-only I wouldn't hate it so much. A table view of all my resources wouldn't be bad. But heaven forbidden if I hit a random number in a random cell!

Hmm, not sure what you're asking then. You want a physical computer that you have access to? DigitalOcean is just a hosting provider. You can buy just regular 'Droplets' (dedicated machine nodes) and host whatever you want on

I haven't been following .NET lately, but AFAIK .NET works on Linux now and "Mono" is basically .NET for Linux... what even are the differences? Sounds like Microsoft just doesn't want to maintain 2 different versions so

I don't like it either, but at least we can pave over it with a framework, unless you're allergic to those. It makes a good building block.

Maybe not even 'akin' but literally ComfyUI. Comfy already has a bunch of image-to-text nodes. I haven't seen txt2txt or Loras and such for them though. But I also haven't looked.

Still terrible at handwriting. I signed up for the API, cobbled together from their tutorial ( https://docs.mistral.ai/capabilities/document/ ) -- why can't they give the full script instead of little bits? Tri

I'm at 329 kB of JS. I've been building on the same app for 10 years. That's a lot of cruft build up. And I'm still nowhere close to any of these numbers. I've got React, jQuery, lodash, and I don't know what e

A/B testing requires you to build both A and B. Or if you already have A, B can't be so radically different that any comparison is meaningless.

0.14.x was when I adopted React. And yeah, I think it was getting quite popular already. That was released in 29/10/2015, so that matches what you said.

We do use microservices, but even then it's still slow AF. I'm not entirely sure why, I guess just via the code dependencies it includes nearly everything. It's all C++ which probably doesn't help.
