Blip definitely has a better UX and it's nice that it can transfer between networks through their servers (obviously don't be sending sensitive stuff cause who knows how much they can be trusted) But I consider my usage of it to b

I don't see the issue with making a social network that's more focused on real-time, current irl connections. Snapchat has already used a similar model with decaying content to great success. I think you're likely of a genera

I don't think I've ever heard of Demon's Souls being categorized as a puzzle game. I suppose some of the bosses have a trick to figure out? But I'd still think it falls into the action RPG genre by a wide margin.

I miss the live presentations too, there's no tension or humanity watching a polished prerecorded video compared to someone having to demo live. It would also discourage them from pulling another Apple Intelligence fiasco and announcin

I'm curious how you ended up creating an account on Hacker News if you don't see why people would be interested in major news regarding the biggest computer maker on the planet.

I haven't touched Android dev in the better part of a decade. Is Android Studio notably worse than IntelliJ? Cause I use that every day for work and I love it.

Now if only they'd open up iOS development so we can get AppCode back. The primary thing keeping me away from trying it again is I have to use Xcode instead of my beloved JetBrains IDEs where I know all the keyboard shortcuts.

Android and Chrome worked like this for a hot minute too. I assumed the idea was to promote webapps to look like they're first-class citizens, but in practice it's just bizarre and confusing UX.

I'm not sure where you got that idea. The inconsistency is from a few years ago when they pushed for rounding the windows more than they have been for years, and then a further rounding in Tahoe, but not all developers following suit.
