Lumping together the violent criminal class as the underclass is pretty offensive. Just because you're poor/working class doesn't mean you have to resort to... er... cracking people's head open with a baseball bat unprov

You pay up front in most cafeterias for example. More likely the reason this isn't done is to allow customers to buy more (drinks/dessert, do so in a single transaction, and tip post-service. Not because the amount is unknown.

Presumably there's TAs (and your peers). I honestly think a world where we have fewer performers, making recorded lectures (that can be re-watched, paused etc), and more active teachers (TA-like roles) to help guide students would make

Which invertible commutative string operation would you choose for + ? This might be nice from a math point of view, but I think users are going to be confused using "string"^3 for repetitions (instead of "string"*3). +

"Stop all economic growth" I disagree with doing that even in the most developed countries, I've no idea how you imagine selling that to the least developed countries. Or by force? However, I agree we aren't really able

Having an additional AWS account which some S3 backs up to, with write only permissions (no delete) and in an account that is not used by anyone, seems like a good idea for this type of situation/concern.

It was a little strange to set up, I remember it taking a while/a lot of experimentation... But in the end it's just running userdata, and/or "component" scripts, and baking that into the AMI. It's been happily

Recently we moved to use EC2 Image Builder, and it's been working great: https://aws.amazon.com/image-builder/ Note: We were already mostly Launch Templates/ASGs, so updates are always new instances (rather t

This would be a less bitter pill to swallow if other EU countries made their nato spending commitments (it's only France). Honestly putting UK as an adversary to the EU is ridiculous. We are all allies. There should be no eschewing.
