I use this scheme. I have a separate account (x@example.com), were I only give addresses with aliases (x+N-RANDOM-LETTERS@example.com). There are of course broken sites, that do not allow + in the e-mail address. Also Bolt (bolt-rider.com)

Was there ever an effort to try removing those "theoretically reachable" objects? It sounds doable, but of course not trivial.

It doesn't have to be more suspectible. It is however one more thing to worry about.

I wanted/tried to be a part of the community. I could say I was not a cultural fit. As much as I sympathize with cutting things down and making frugal software I am too messy to make it all work for my advantage. I now prefer to mix an

I recommend going through st source: https://git.suckless.org/st/file/st.c.html I may have fallen out of love to suckless.org, but the code is usually simple so one can at least learn from it.

It is indeed sad. Regarding standard discussion patters I see it often. I imagine sometimes a pinned comment that would outline those. Along with all the usual corrections and corrections to those corrections.

I like how Chromebooks deal with the button. AFAIR when you press it screen contents fade into black and when the animation finishes (after something like 3 seconds) it will show you shutdown/reboot dialog. I never had any problem with

How does the app store searching and filtering work now? I had last contact with Apple devices around iPhone 4S. What I remember from that time (maybe wrongly) is that the experience was practically limited to a name search (as on Android).

ChromeOS is a Linux based OS to run Chrome. Although Freon is not a Wayland compositor, I still think you are mostly safe for the time being. I think in next ten years we can have a few sad surprises in desktop Linux.

AFAIK Tailscale is an alternative to ZeroTier, but it doesn't involve WireGuard. Edit: I was wrong.

For Wireguard mesh networks is there something in the similar level of maturity as Zerotier?

Then I think about Tom Cruise's stunts especially in Mission: Impossible series. It got his own brand out of doing things more real. Similarly how Mad Max: Fury Road was received. Most also have very good writing (certainly not M:i-2).

I'm doing something similar: PC at home, Chromebook with Crostini, running ZeroTier and nss-mdns with mosh on top or ssh for X11 forwarding (I use git gui a lot). Cheap fast and can work on battery forever.

I'm sorry to pick a nit, but could you expand on "well readable if written well"? I would say that a Makefile or even a CMakeLists.txt are readable if written well.

Columbo is my and my wife's favorite series. There are many things that separate it from most. Nowadays there is a big focus on series where every episode ends with an addictive cliffhanger. I hate that. You can watch a single episode
