I haven't seen a conclusive answer. My search results suggest that she may be 22, but it is mostly based on the fact that she has some voice acting credits from 2003. Someone on Reddit mentioned that they read an article saying "(

That reminds me about Laila Lockhart Kraner from Netflix's "Gabby's Dollhouse" is presumably in her early 20s. She plays an 11 year old.

As much as I hate modals they are usually a product of single threaded or poor event loop design.

I think that supporting multiple platforms is one of the smallest challenges for a browser. CSS and performant JavaScript that manipulates DOM is far more complex a problem.

It is a single pass compiler, that doesn't do many optimizations. Fun factoid: TCC is sort of predecessor to QEMU.

I think that when the code base is small it can be really fitting. Ones I find my favorite do almost no memory allocations. Or allocations are done only for the workset. I do not like that nowadays it seems customary to heap allocate everyt

I always wonder about code bases using bolt-on reference counting. I would count C++ shared_ptr and Rust's Arc among them. At this point wouldn't it be better to just use a regular GC language? What I don't like in modern C++

The following are only my lax feelings. There was a time here on HN a few years back were Drew was often on the front page. He seemed to be a growing Open Source star. He had opinions, but also projects to show. I don't know if he chan

I find that Rust tends to have code that goes sideways more than downward. I prefer the latter and most C code bases, that I find elegant are like that. It is like that, because of all the chaining that one can do. It is also just a feeling

The usual recommendations have been given. Now for more touristic approach what I would like to use if given excuse and time. All those options are mostly written in C: - QBE [1] - small compiler backend with nice IL - DynASM [2] - IIUC the

It is a nice addition, but I would like to see this taken further - structural regular expression awk. It is waiting to be implemented for 35 years now.

Radio time signal stations broadcast time and I would hope it would be cheap enough as we have radio controlled clocks, that do not cost a fortune. Otherwise a small battery and a RTC would be enough and probably a better solution.
