Give us some time. We're still playing around with Beaker setups. Hell, I'm installing Ubuntu bash on my Windows box just to see if I can get this running today :) PS: I think this would pick up more steam if you changed the title

I love this concept. Anyone know of software (other than Dragon) that does this with voice recognition? I could see myself using context aware voice commands in my day to day! I remember seeing some talks a few years back about a guy who us

A cellular based iPod shuffle with Siri and the ability to tether with the Watch would be really great! Kinda like Apple's version of what Pebble's Core was going to be. It would be really cool to just leave the phone at home and

I've been using Zim as a desktop wiki for projects ever since Ethan Schoonover (of Solarized fame) recommended it. Highly suggest checking it out! http://zim-wiki.org

I use jrnl http://jrnl.sh/ It supports tags, text files, date filters, I can use my own editor, it's open source, multiplatform and even supports encryption. Oh yeah, and it's super minimalistic and can be used di

Core charges in two ways: power connector that attaches to the 3.5mm headphone jack, or via the attachable plate that allows wireless charging. Thus, you'll probably be able to attach a small external battery pack to make it run all da

I was actually doubting Pebble would survive given the last product (Pebble Round) and the way they were marketing themselves (like a kid's toy) BUT then they pulled these new products out of nowhere and now I'm left with my jaw o

And it won't. Alexa CAN NOT run on Pebble watches. Alexa needs a proper mini-PC like a smartphone or raspberry pi to run. Let's not forget Pebble watches are just mini-programmable controllers that run a modified version of FreeRT

"I think Garmin is way underrated as a (hardware) technology company." Can't agree more! I just wish they had a decent SDK so we could have apps on Garmin devices just like Pebble OS.

No tutorial for first time visitors is kind of a fail. When a search fails, there should be a message stating something like "why don't you try searching for X".

Love this kid. It's great to see people discover their passions so early on and be able to dive fully into them. His experiences remind me a lot of Linus Torvalds and his book: "Just for fun". That said, I'm also a tad j

Anyone have experience with BQ HW? Is it any good? For the price (300eur) I'd actually be willing to try the HD 1920 x 1200 version, IF the HW and battery life turn out to be solid.

Big fan of the Forerunner series! I only wish there was some type of app ecosystem for it. I'm a heavy countdown timer user and carry a normal digital watch just for this feature alone.

And that's the gist of it. Pebble is supposed to be a watch first. It's just not a very pretty one. Everyone I know who buys watches for how they look and not for what features they offer is turned off by Pebble's design and

I DO NOT think they make a crap product that doesn't appeal to anybody. YES I am arguing that they could make a better product. IMO they have solid SW but ugly functional HW.
