My house gets on- and off-peak usage rates, so if I charge at night I get a better rate. My last bill had an on-peak rate of $.0886, but the off-peak rate was $.0327. So it's even better if I set the timer and only charge after a certa

I was just thinking about the whole "what happened in the last decade". While the 90s ended with the rise of the web, and the 00s saw the rise of what we can do with the web, the 10s felt like an experiment of what NOT to do with

I think the point of the article was more that you didn't get to to do what you wanted to do, regardless of what that thing is. If you wanted to watch TV because you enjoy it, fine (the time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time). But i

I remember when this happened, when it went "digital" and I know why it takes a second to switch channels, but it ruined the experience for me. While, at the time there was ways to watch video on the computer or from a DVD or VHS,

Personally, I've switched from angular to vuejs after angular 2 (3, 4) came out. I found that vuejs was a better update from angular 1 than angular 2 was.

A big part of why this isn't viable for most is that not only don't they have the time to cook, a lot of the food you buy is perishable. Meaning that you'll throw it out before you use it.

The echo is a way for you to buy stuff from them - so that's where the advantage is for Amazon. It's like saying "I got a really good deal on a billboard for my house." and all it does is show ads for someone else.
