Author nails it though with: "We should be far more concerned with keeping 0.1x programmers off our teams than finding the mythical 10x programmer."

You're assuming that smart lightbulbs are to be trusted. You can't trust them, neither can you trust most of the software you run in your home network. Take a simple app crash report on your desktop computer. Assuming i'm usi

So in essence privacy extensions (hiding of internal network) are available, but disabled and unsupported by default. Another thing are incoming connections - first thing i do with new router is disable UPnP, so clients cannot drill ad-hoc

Wouldn't there be better options for that? python, lua, tcl, perl, ... ?

In this sense it's same as what microsoft is trying to do with Blazor - except they are skipping whole javascript crap and compile to wasm.

You need to treat clients as zero-trust. Your db is just a vector for DOS attack if you don't.

testufo.com shows 144fps correctly. I don't believe this is issue on my side.

Quite interesting... no noticeable difference in performance between the two. FPS capped at 72fps. And pretty much identical cpu/gpu load.

You don't need redux most of the time, let alone sagas. It's very common mistake. Mostly you can use `useState()` and just pass it with props. If you really need reactive global state i'd prefer to use MobX.

Probably a good reason for this. A lot of images of plants are in hands of humans (just checked PlantNET db) - i guess ML is modeled to ignore humans.

Interesting. In EU, max interest paid per annuity is 10% and 90% goes to equity. Also property taxes seem steep in USA.

There's no NATO related data there - it's just a project for NATO. If poisoned images were to be deployed into NATO datacenter, hackers would have no access to it as it's physically separated from internet.

I wonder how maintainable this is even for clojure experts? Simple feature - add 'jump' control. How long would it take you?

It wouldn't need to be open source. They would make closed-source distro with custom kernel modules and packages. Just like MacOS.

With Intel's acquisition of SiFive... for Windows to support RISC V they'd need to do that anyway. They did it for ARM64 (partially) and are struggling. They have to do bunch of stuff via emulation instead.

BAT - basic attention token is paid to you if you enable ads in brave browser. The benefit here is that it's anonymous (at least to the point when you want to cash-out).

Same. I also flag seemingly good things like !!x. If you want to convert something to boolean be explicit and do Boolean(x). In most cases it turns out there was a bug in input parameter in the first place and developer was just lazy to fix

But the real risk here is that the lever will get stuck. Even if 1 person dies from vaccine - it can create huge, long-lasting case against vaccination, causing more people to choose not to vaccinate and eventually killing a lot more people

You need to install opencl-mesa and rock-dkms and should work. clinfo will then show OpenCL devices. I have no clue why this is not included in distros by default though.

This is simply not true. React 15 is not compatible with React 16 and it can even take substantial effort to upgrade if you used componentWillReceiveProps (though which in hindsight could be avoided in the first place)
