How do you feel about the way WiFi is marketed to the public? I think that's the main thing OP is saying "sucks".

You wrote that he was probably more ignorant than ill-intentioned. That implies good intentions or no intentions. The intentional asshole makes good decisions for the company, think Bill Gates in the 90s. These days he's shown that tha

> He's probably more ignorant than mean-intended. And too many entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley are in the same position. This is a common excuse that holds no water with me. "Good intentions" are worth absolutely nothing,

We keep creating more vimpires every day. We will outlive GUI editor users by centuries.

Careful not to over-micro-dose, then it's just a really weird day at work. Heard from a friend.

I have great respect for you but this seems a bit mean spirited. Why shouldn't devs want to be as many things as possible? Is css-in-js is more ridiculous than regular CSS? I've left regular CSS behind and gained a lot of sanity.

Because you get way better error reporting. Asserting on a boolean is just pass/fail, but with expect the runner tells you "got X, expected Y" which is way better.

Design is nice, content is shamefully incomplete. Best case is honest bias, worst case is author has been compensated.

If you are hired by a corporation to respond to journalists, you are in PR, not journalism. You're not motivated by the truth.

I see. A lot of us I think assume we are talking about web apps or mobile apps where you don't.

Why? There's no good reason for carriers or phone makers to do it. I haven't been anywhere where the radio was playing in a long time. I'd rather see the frequencies returned to the general population for fun.

Without a load balancer, how do you currently spread the load over multiple nodes in your app?

The real lesson is for language designers, who for some reason love using equals for assignment. Lisp got it right a hundred years ago and nobody learned.

Are there JS runtimes that are primarily synchronous? Certainly not any popular/widely used ones. Asynchrony is for all practical purposes a property of JS.

Musk is talking about a direct brain to computer interface. Video/typing/etc cannot be compared, even remotely. You're missing Musk's point if you argue down that path.

The high bandwidth bit Musk was focussing on has not. And when it does, our cheeky observations about how "merged" we are today will seem trite.

SQLite is a library. If you call a program to store your data, it's a DB server. Same host or not.

It's generally easier to fix an incorrect program than corrupt data. You're not wrong, but the magnitude doesn't compare.

I'm afraid you may be missing the point. The evidence you give (dog runs faster than you) doesn't really mean anything, and exercise does not affect anatomy. These are vets giving expert opinions and you are a (former) pug owner
