Actually 3DS is much more reliable than giving credit card numbers to random online merchant that will face data breach sooner or later.

Ok it's wrong to say "nothing". But I don't really see consensus nor reliability in crypto currencies. Specially the consensus seems to be missing, if you look this phenomena far enough.

I'm thinking this from the security point of view. Unless you bring the crypto operations outside the battlefield of JS runtime, any js library is basically unsecure.

Proof of work is anyway bad idea (work for nothing), unless the work is something useful.

I was too lazy to scroll down to see it. Cognitive load increased to the level of buffer overflow before seeing the example :)

Human greediness is endless. Using AI for stock trading is just unethical and waste of resources. We are sick.

>Think of the crypto industry as AI training, most is pure junk, until a regression is fit. This is perfect description. Best sentence I've read today.

Bitcoin is really ugly. The utterly ugly algorithm requires storing of enormous amounts of waste data and requires extremely unefficient computational work of "mining". It's just a showcase of human greediness and stupidity.

I don't understand why so many are still blind to these very serious problems and praise crypto currencies. I see mining as bigger problem than spam.

Creating unscaleable energy wasting ponzi scheme mostly for darknet use is something which I personally call ultimate failure. Maybe not a technical failure, but it is sad chapter in humans history.

Impossible to immigrate to Sweden? They take enormous amounts of immigrants every year. If you just find employer, they will handle the bureaucracy for you. At least you'll get a work permission for certain time and it can be extended

I don't see much sense using U2F. If you just need a 2nd factor, then TOTP based solutions do it cheaper and easier. FIDO 2.0 is the way to go if FIDO is required.

Second that. Serverless is a buzzword like AI. But the concept is brilliant from many perspectives. It may save architects and developers from db scaling headaches.

Any wifi other than yours, or your company's is huge security risk. I would not trust a second for a service like this.
