Very interesting article, as were the previous articles, thanks. On the other hand, reading it made me feel slightly depressed because my work currently is so boring compared to this and I don't have any energy left for hobby projects

I just like the limitation, helps me to focus. Same reason I like writing C (no matter the standard in this case), it's simple so I don't have to worry about all the possible ways to implement something.

I still use C++11 because I feel like it's a decent balance between C and C++.

>D-Wave I never understood the value of their product(s). Is someone right now using their computers? How do they make money to keep the company afloat? It feels like whenever I read an article about D-Wave, the details are obfuscated, b

What's the fun in this? I once looked into it briefly and it's what I guessed: mostly about building and installing the required software individually. That's boring, I guess the fun would be in building an actual usable dist

I agree with you, when I made this comment I was simply excited but that didn't last too long. I find this technology both exciting and dystopian, the latter because the dystopic use of it is already happening all over the internet. Fo

This is so sick I don't know what to say. I never expected this, aren't the implications of this huge?

Well either the typing glue or the library itself if it's written in TypeScript. My point was: the types are too damn complicated. Way too complicated for what they achieve. Almost always.

TypeScript is overly complicated and for what? Compile-time "safety". It's better than plain JavaScript, though whatever library I pull as a dependency and peek inside the TypeScript<>JavaScript interface glue, I always

You've heard "reliable records"? Can you link it/them? I can't find via search engines, I tried.

I don't like how it forces you to update. Maybe you can disable that though? Haven't bothered to check. :D

;__;7 I find news like this very sad. People who do massive amounts of good just suddenly die.

Dynamic HTML? This thing doesn't use canvas, pretty cool.

Looking at the timestamps, the pace of progress just him working alone in the beginning is nothing short of amazing. He seems to be a true jack of all trades when it comes to programming.

Looks very nice! Whenever I write hobby stuff in C, I re-implement (for fun) simple stuff such as a dynamic vector, dynamic string and a key-value map, but nothing to this extent ofc.
