From Chrome it works. but that's about it. Zoom and Teams client cannot share screen. Some previous versions it worked on Zoom, but not currently. Also my CPU usage goes up the roof when I am on video calls. So if I started a call on Z

As cool and fun as it looks (compiz eat your heart out ;-) ), my excitement is slightly diminished because the basic function of sharing my entire screen is still not there. I know a lot might be related to specific apps, but the inability

I understand what you're saying here. I'm doing some looking-into identity as the concept of a verification that a person is who they say they are, not in the context of authentication but in the "real world". I've

The more real it sounds, the more dangerous it can be. Personally, I want to know I'm talking to a computer the second it "opens it's mouth".

When I buy anything from Amazon I haven't bought before, I always check 3 star reviews first. Then I go through a few 1-2 stars. I might check one 4-5 stars but usually I treat them all as fake at this stage.

HA! I recorded one of those show ids in Hebrew at the time. Completely forgot about that. I am pretty sure all those recordings do exist somewhere. Mason Rothert was doing all things radio there and it was beautiful to watch (and listen).

Around 1999 I created thumpradio.com, which was the "streaming" website for the Thump Radio radio show and (mad) parties in San Francisco. The site streamed all the radio shows, DJ sets (in RealAudio) and had artist bios and track

If you live in London, Black Sheep sell high quality Robusta beans. They are very very good and work for different styles (I usually grind and drink as "Turkish").

I very recently learned that KDE Connect has a Gnome version. My comment was mostly said jokingly. I have been using Linux exclusively for the past 18 years or so. My only experience is seeing posts about Mac apps I think are cool, only to

Meld is one of the first things I make sure I have on a new Linux install. Usually good apps come out for Mac only and the likes of me go all "wot, no Linux version?" but today I learned that until today, Mac users might have said

Lifting weights doesn't translate to deadlifting. That's just one exercise of many. Weights and other exercise helped me. I don't deadlift though.

Great. Now if only they managed to produce enough (electric) cars so that a delivery date is not years ahead, that would be terrific.

That synth was the Rolls Royce of synths in the 90s. Price wise at least. It seemed like it could do anything at the time.

Is it "you" that talks to you? I'm not even sure what an "inner monologue" is in practice. Is it a thought-line different to your "practical thoughts" which narrates your day as you go?

I got no visuals and no voice. Its dark and quiet on my head. I found out not all people are like that in my early 40s and to be honest felt like I missed out. I do dream visually, but rarely able to recall dreams, and I did experience visu
