I'm sorry but that is totally not what I'm asking about. I'm asking about the artificial HARDCODED limit despite the size of kernel or modules. This is hardcoded at boot process - no matter how big or small your kernel is. Fo

Very interesting. I'm using the same approach in Python: python3 -m http.server 8000 Help's a lot for quick development.

I was unable to find some basic information such us: What are minimum requirements? 386SX, 486? Pentium, Pentium with PAE/SSE2? It seems that this is one of those projects developed and "tested" only inside virtual machine.

No. I'm running some mysql and sqlite databases locally for my apps apart from Oracle DB. All for free.

One word: PRICE. In the end of the day this is THE cheapest cloud available if you just want few VMs with database and under 10TB of traffic monthly. Personal opinion: it is much easier to manage than AWS.

Very good money for my skillset(IMO I'm below average programmer), "prestige"(company is in TOP 5 in its field), and things I do are not ordinary boring stuff like web apps - but rather specialized stuff.

Beer and donuts doesn't work as its "policy". As for Hyper-V: virtualization is disabled on BIOS/UEFI level, and I'm unable to change it.

Hi. I recently bought some 386SX 25Mhz laptop to develop some software as well, and I worked on low-end hardware for over decade as well(for fun!) My findings: You could run NetBSD 1.3.1 on just 2MB of RAM. You can play mp3 on 486DX 66Mhz w

Think about it as inivisible laser beam in terms of beam width. We are talking here 2mm wave with very directional antennas - its very hard to detect it. That's actually how spies send data back over the satellites: >Unlike with

1. Narrow beam antenna (such as satellite antenna) does NOT propagate signal arround it (OMNIdirectional antennas does that). It's almost impossible to detect it unless you fly directly over the beam. Think about it as laser beam. 2. I

This seems great! I just got some ancient laptop (386SX, 1.5MB RAM) running windows 3.11, and I was trying to find some modern programming launguage to hack on it. This seems perfect (as there are no modern C++11 compiler avalible for DOS[n
