Arabizi has utilitarian value but if you're learning languages with more than just pratical considerations, I really recommend learning the original Arabic alphabet. I might be a bit of a romantic here but I think it's amongst the

I always find atleast one person making this or similar comment in threads on non native GUI libraries. I also respect the fact that this is just a statement of a personal preference. However I don't think most people care. Good applic

Firstly, for the record, as far as political beliefs go, mine are quite aligned with the protesting employee here. Having said that, Google is entirely right here. The speaker was not some right wing political wingnut from Israel. He was ju

I moved from Gnome to KDE recently. There is likely no desktop environment that's more customisable while at the same time being full batteries included as KDE is. And I've probably tried them sll: Gnome, XFCE, Enlightenment, Cinn

Strong disagree. I have indeed tried Markor and used it for quite a while. Atleast several months if not a year. It doesn't hold a candle to Obsidian. Just two things off the top of my head among plenty of others: 1. No live edit mode

What's not clear to me from the post is, is the author talking about just the rust-lang projects? Isn't this a characteristic of active contributors of many (or I daresay, most) large open source projects? I am not an active contr

I'm not so sure that this claim is valid as a general observation. Multiple times in my career, I have seen scientific code written by academics dramatically sped up by developers who used parallelisation, vectorisation using SIMD etc.
