Is there a reason for that other than just tradition/history? Sometimes when things differ from our norms, there may be a reason or an advantage that we are unaware of. Just curious. Thanks in advance!

I wonder if the GP is complaining about the delivery of said welfare because at least on paper that welfare should be happening. Yet GP believes there are nearly zero benefits. Therefore, I wonder if there is a "disconnect" betwee

Agreed but my point was that in order for such a lawsuit to succeed, it must clear such a hurdle that it leaves little room for anyone to doubt the justifications. IANAL as well so this is just me wondering and hoping someone who's mor

I wonder if that may be intentional so that when people to litigate it, it's going to be pretty obvious and leave very little room for doubt.

I've really embraced type annotation and mypy for Python. Partly because it really helps the Python language server in VS Code with autocomplete. It has also saved me a few times in pointing out some type mismatches and forcing me to r

I've had the same questions myself. America has this dual system of capitalism and democracy. We are greatly affected by both. When the two exists in our borders, we are able to sort of use one to effect the other, etc. but globalizat

Wow. That's funny because that's the exact evolution that happened at my current company (GoDaddy points to AWS and AWS does the rest) and we're now a unicorn. Being a unicorn is not a reflection of engineering quality though

I really dislike GoDaddy but this is not the best signal to use. A lot of startups are rather low in engineering talent early on when they're trying to find market fit and make a product. A lot of things about startups are just crap ea
