Does any variant of this apply to DMCA’d repos in the repo network? For example if the root repo is DMCA’d, or, if repo B forks repo A, then B adds some stuff that causes B to get DMCA’d. Can A still access B?

For me, the benefit was a lot of convenience. And, the component was just "a component" and not "the purpose" of what I was building, so went with ZMQ. I'm also highly inexperienced in that area, so ZMQ having a sin

Imo, ZMQ is more of an abstraction with which to design protocols, rather than a message queue ready to use, Kafka-style. I found unexpectedly that I needed to really read the entire manual and work through the worked examples and some of m

Unless it changed very recently, which from my reading it didn’t, that’s not correct. The $375k is an uncapped safe with mfn, but you do get the whole $500k upfront. Source: https://www.ycombinator.com/deal Also sourced fro

I went to a state school (UNC Chapel Hill). Sure, the odds are better at Stanford, but I’m not the only one in my class at UNC who ended up doing YC.

Still good for proportionality. Would’ve been even cooler though with folders for EU, NATO, and other groups that I’m ignorant of. Spacesniffer-style.

I tried to log into the “Ethereum” Minecraft account after many years of hiatus and discovered that I didn’t remember the password, and the associated gmail had somehow been deleted. I now use my own domain name for email.

In the sense that rather than something to take into account while building the system, it is an emergent property from the fact that any such system has resource limitations.

If you were to try to build such a simulation, given the natural limits of real hardware, wouldn’t some form of relativity be a necessary feature of the simulation to avoid segfaults, rather than something simply to take into account while

I never guaranteed you that the process will finish. In fact I agree it will not, since it is infinite. However, each subprocess within the process is finite and has a definite end. That is why the process is countable, albeit indefinite. &

The thing you are failing to understand is that your statement of “generate a random real” at each step is meaningless because each such step cannot be guaranteed to terminate. Which means the generator function you have been espousing this

You don’t need to finish calculating pi/4 to know that it is a non-computable number, whereas all positive integers are computable, which is why the length of that segment will never show up in the generator. My assertion is simply tha

Does pi/4 not exist? If I draw a circle of diameter 1 and erase all but one quadrant, I now have constructed a segment of length pi/4. This happens to be a transcendental number between 0 and 1. Stop using your random number gener

Nono. F(n) where n is the number of steps, not the desired number. You’ve got it backwards. The number is the output, not the input.

Ascending order is just one of many arbitrary orders. An ordering is a first output of a generator function, a second output, a third output, etc, where for any arbitrarily chosen element X of the set (such as the positive integers or reals

You’re avoiding the difference. You can count (for example via generator function), the natural numbers, though you may never finish. Typically, people generate via numerical order, so 1, 2, 3, 4,… Now try doing that with the real numbers.

You can count natural numbers. Elementary school children do it every day. Now, try to count the real numbers. What comes after 1?
