Sounds cool. If only you could get such a selection with say, crisps. I always found french supermarkets etc to be lacking in many exciting flavours and choices overall

I don't disagree with your comment here. Next time lead with a comment like this that gets to what you're trying to say. If you feel I was being pedantic, then you've missed my points

I assumed the "she" was you as I hadn't read the article yet. So I was referring to you in my comment. As for the comparisons with Lindt 90%, just stop. Choose a lindt product that's a similar % to dairy milk. Here you g

Flake was always good though. I remember liking Spira and Twirl as well. I don't really eat chocolate much any more though, but if/when I do - will make sure to compare flake to non flake

I agree in part. But why did she say "is a chunk of sugared grease by comparison". Seems like that clearly shows she was comparing the two in taste as well...

Everyone has their personal preferences. But you're comparing a milk chocolate with very dark chocoloate. Cadbury bournville is the dark variety, but I bet its not close to 90%. So if you like 90% chocolate, sure you will hate dairy mi

Two thoughts: - Both products (the site, and the app) are copies of others. Neither looks like it took great skill to throw together. I don't know that anyone would want to hire you based on these 2 examples. - I

Pretty much this. There's a ton of drugs in sport, and doping goes back to at least the 40s/50s. Steroids and a whole host of other things were legal when Lemond was winning, and lots of other sports had/have issues with dopi

Well they can't possibly have the same hiring bar they used to, due to the amount of hires they need. When you're a smaller company, or a rapidly growing one, you can't really afford a bad egg. At google's current size,

I agree it's the best way to tell if the candidate is a fit. But, I think resume + phone screen (or 2) + an on-site can be almost as good, and not limit your talent pool. The on-site could even include working with the team. What you d

I heavily vet sources first. Reading reviews, reddit threads, about the author, looking at the curriculum, etc. Youtube and udemy have a lot of bad stuff - but there are gems as well if you're willing to wade. I've used pluralsigh

It's a nice looking product. My main concern with apps like these are that they use very green looking projects. https://github.com/blockstack/gaia has 154 total commits and 6 contributors. The rest of blockstack&

Well, if they are OK with the time off before you sign then it shows they do value time off. And I like to set the tone with new employers - they can expect I take off a decent amount of PTO. To be clear, I've only worked for employers

I assume tashoecraft was referring to the latest version of Angular - which I believe is 5. And 6 is right around the corner. I would make an educated guess that the most recent Angular is not user perceptibly slower than React for most app

I have looked closely at deploying things to heroku and elastic beanstalk. I have looked at many many others, but these 2 appear the easiest and most battle tested. I had not looked at convox, though. So my question would be, could you thin

Isnt that just a generator for the app itself? I'm talking about the scaffolding/generating that .NET/emberjs do when you want to do something boilerplatey. As for the DB issue, I mean't show how you can connect to a DB
