Terribly misleading post title - that is a quote by Grace Hopper about Ada Lovelace, not a quote about Grace Hopper herself. The title is "Grace Hopper, computing pioneer" and it's from 2014.

What do you use for pdf annotation and citation management? I really like hosting my own data with zotero+webdav, but there basically is no interface. On the flip side, Mendeley has a ton of features, and works+looks great, but hosting is p

I would debate the phrasing of that answer. The value unit ($) is implicitly pluralized. Fully written out, that phrase would be "four point four billion dollars". The value unit is pluralized, but the numbers are not pluralized.

Agreed. All of the examples shown were basically, "and then we put a camera on this drone, isn't that cool?" I was hoping for technology at the caliber of those LED greenhouses, or at least as good as that tensorflow cucumber
