One of the real-world problems right now is that there are lots of places where it's not easy, practical, convenient, fun or even possible to charge. We have had an EV for four years and there are some trips where you end up standing a

Blood-alcohol levels are typically measured as permilles in some countries, like Sweden. 0.2 ‰ is the legal limit there. Also used in some countries in Europe to denote the grade of slopes (as in warning for steep hills). Never seen permyri

Having experience from emergency departments in two different countries with "Medicare for all", it seems pretty much the same everywhere. There are two cohorts that make up the frequent flyers: the old and the drunk/addicts.

Very easily obtained, though: just call +46856485160 and ask for it. They also reply to questions like "okay, so did this person have any siblings and what were their parents' names?" and "who else lives at that address?

We don't even need to speculate about it. In for example Sweden, everyone's tax return is public information. You just call the tax office and ask how much income someone declared last available year.

From my experience they learn from the older kids as soon as they start school. At least in my culture. My daughter came home saying "shit what the fuck" (in English, despite English not being the native tongue of the locality) on

I find it a bit hard to understand the drama. A private company failed to deliver some speculative future technology according to expectations (and/or agreements?). Doesn't that happen all the time? If it is so important to have t

That data centres in Sweden pay almost no electricity tax (5 SEK/MWh if I remember correctly) while consumers pay 36 is not popular with everyone. The map doesn't show that Sweden is divided into four areas. SE1 and SE2, the north

That seems strange to me. It doesn't seem very unusual to me to use the "pro" laptop for actual work, and running a process that takes 20 minutes does not seem like a made-up use case at all. I don't know enough about fa
