software works are normally subject to copyright without much further ado. database works are more commonly subject to rights _similar_ to copyright, but often a class of work in its own right.

Well thought and I can imagine this can be further differentiated. E.g. what is considered boundaries or limits in a declarative way also work as guardrails. So while it could be possible to hit actual limits on day one, there is often more

This is an interesting story. Millions of users, but you catch fire when you ask for money when you need it - on your very own channels. And this is a project which highly depends on maintenance so you need to have personnel that does it

Also I don't get it. People sometimes seemed to be obsessed by analytics that much they forget making their website. And then replace doing the real work with decisions by numbers they get out of "Analytics". And all that on

Err, with all due respect, the alert seems a bit stupid in the current form: as a tourist you would have to eat fresh food, healthy wise. Also it is most likely you want to learn about the kitchen - eating could be of benefit so. True, gett

Nuclear is commonly not considered a renewable, and the nuclear capacity was already EOL but for some power plants they went over the original closing date so was prologued, not closed. Coal is on the rise. Gas is on the rise.

Err, don't the more current facts dismiss your post as well towards what you were commenting for? Coal is going up. Gas is going up. Both not renewable.

I use the systems' package manager to install php on my system and it supports having multiple php versions. That is for all but one version that is compiled from sources.

Well there once was such an idea. That what would have become PHP 6. But then there was the decision to not do that, keep strings binary only and never release PHP 6. Instead we had seen a couple more PHP 5.x releases and the yearly release

Deprecation warnings for the most. But those can be taken away so you can have PHP 5/7/8 code without much deviation. More than a LTS release I'd prefer more PHP 8 releases than the five in 7.x, e.g. more until 8.8 or 8.9.

I remember one breaking syntax change in PHP 7 a larger project was affected and it was tested with grep and fixed with sed in a matter of minutes. There is benefit if you have the project under test and can run the build with different php

Yes, it is totally possible to guess it this way. From top of my head reference rewriting while rebase is older thought, but I'd be clueless about it apart from that rebasing is for rewriting commit references in the first place. And

my current way to do this is to have build as numbered references of their original commit, and then one on top that contains the build protocol. and thinking: part of the matter from code review outcomes, also some automated check systems

You can see it in the log and only at the relevant commit. No need to git show the object id of the .txt files in the repo to see the message.
