But man the maintenance and debug nightmare never seems worth it for that tradeoff. Not to mention vendor lockin

Why would you ever have lockin if you're using open telemetry?

Glad I've never had to deal with that in chat. Though I have had the equivalent in tech support: "App doesn't work" which is basically just hello, obviously you're having an issue otherwise you wouldn't have co

It looks like Svelte honestly. I'm really trying to figure out how it's all that much different

You can also use the old version, it's not like an old unsupported version of something is any different for open and closed source

Yeah, they may have looked at the number of users on Android 8 and decided it was worth it for everyone else to stop spending time making sure they don't break it.

I mean it wouldn't be hard to run a simple user script to add or remove all lazy attributes, though this isn't a solution for everyone, but most people don't care either.

Yeah because the fragmentation of the JS ecosystem is such a great feature

I can't tell if this is serious that you're a startup using 3 languages with plans to use 2 more. I'm not saying that those might be the best tool for the job, but the complexity to manage that whole build chain sounds crazy

I'd love a technical explanation about that bug, it was so fun

Totally agree, though I prefer a 3 dots menu over a custom Right click menu every day.

Nice tool, sure there might be other tools online that have more features, but this is a pretty tool and pleasing to the eye and to use. Also it's nice to have a simple fast desktop tool. Thanks for building it!

If a kid is a bully then the parents organizing the group can kick that kid out (as a last resort). Additionally if a child is being bullied they can tell their parents and the parents can take action directly, this can happen publicly but

Uneducated maybe. But uneducated about what, is the real question. I'm sure there's something that you are uneducated about, just like there is with all people.

Got it, so people who aren't privileged enough to own a device shouldn't use the internet.

Except our only solution to this problem today IS government provided already (ID SSN or Passport).

Cool, I didn't even know that existed. It'll be cool when it's widely available, but even before then it's fun for some personal or PoC stuff

Nice! So if this 3rd party server goes offline it takes down your operation. I hope it's not very important.

I also love the idea. However it's really hard to trust as a non IT person who understands that's possible and how to verify (via dev tools for example) that it's truly working offline. I'm not really sure what the solut

Man, compose can be so much simpler for local dev though, you can easily bind local files and you don't need a fancy setup for local dev. We just switched from docker compose to k8s so that it was closer to prod, but I think if we had

It feels like the people running this campaign think that these drivers are curious and interested in being the best and safest driver they can be. This seems unlikely. I pretty much ignore anything I get in the mail, the exceptions are ban
