The problem is when your competitors get the idea to spam your campaign with fake traffic, which is a real thing that happens.

Yeah, as soon as site operators implement that paid traffic scheme the Cloudflare has been pushing. It's all about being to monetize their compute/content.

Yes and in each case of people being correctly imprisoned, Flock was right. That's because it's a tautology.

Did their genes survive more, you mean. Hyper-vigilance could be maladaptive for the individual and still survive if it benefits others that carry the gene for it.

According to UN, Sudan is the worst: https://www.who.int/news/item/09-01-2026-sudan-1000-days-of-... Yet you seem to be completely unaware of it. Why do you think that is?

So if you learned that other states are committing greater crimes, then you would agree that the reporting is anti-semitic?

You don't think there's value in hiding origin ip from hackers? lol.

That's how you get DDOS protection / edge delivery, so it's not a dark pattern. I imagine it's the main reason why people would DNS through them in the first place.

Then you don't get edge cache though, right? And maybe some other features?

The orange cloud icon in dns settings, in other words, but that's opt-out too. So yeah - double opt-out I guess.

I think you're looking at this the wrong way. It's the goal of all religions to make death less scary, that's what they're for. Buddha is just coming at it from a different angle.

Let's hear it then because I'm using Brave and don't see the opt-out.

Brave blocks those ads anyway so no point in Ublock, maybe that's why it's left out. It does inject it's own ads though, and then there's all the crypto nonsense.

I have a client that prototypes things in Lovable and hands them off to me to get them working and deployed. He would be lost in claude code.

But someone still has to eat up all those cows before their methane mucks up the environment. And if you're not willing to do your part, that just means the rest of us have to pull double duty.

Beef specifically. If everybody switched to pork, chicken and fish that would mitigate most of this and it's a much more realistic ask.

It's ok if it's super-targeted. If it's a product for high school girls soccer coaches, and I'm a high school girls soccer coach, that's reasonable outreach. But I get a log of "we noticed your website isn'

That's because your experience is siloed. People in other silos are seeing other headlines and other news articles, and wondering how you could not see them.

We all learned what the 3 branches are in grade school. Some people forgot it. Liberals are more likely to remember it because liberal discourse (this thread for example) reminds them of it. It's a biased litmus test in other words.

This is clearly a cool take though and author knows it. This is not a polarizing view in the sense that anything about Epstein / Gaza / Trans athletes would be.
