Not just believed but actually proved with reverse engineering. They even have the app download remote files and executing them which no app should ever do. (Only on Android since iOS does not allow that!)

Don't get tricked by the "GIF" names. Ex. Giphy will only use GIF if videos do not work. They mostly use video formats. I assume it's the same for RightGIF?

There is something similar to Tay on Facebook/Instagram but it's not as "offensive" so the problem with Tay must have been in the dataset or something. It's basically a bot attempting to be a social media influencer
