It's just a Hackathon. It's meant to just build something for the sake of building it. I made something that lets you stage an internet argument through a Pokemon battle. I don't think I am a "smart kid wasted on a stupid webpage".

$12,000,000 a month? Holy shit. I had no idea the ceiling was that high. I made a free to play Android game that took me 6 weeks and made about $10 total... I guess I need to give this another shot.

I love my TF300, especially with the dock. I'd like the extra screen res but since I only watch SD video and browse the web, 1200x800 is more than fine. Higher resolution would be useful with multitasking, but for full screen apps I'll ke

The Hartl tutorial is absolutely amazing. I still go back to it all the time. I was all Java before I picked up Rails and this book answered all of my questions.

Couldn't this just be done on Kickstarter currently? Just make the rewards different levels of inclusion on the adventure. Although I don't know if Kickstarter has a way to cap donations, you wouldn't want to have to bring 1000 people wit

Venmo hasn't been very successful thus far. They have a small to mid sized user base and they are currently operating at a loss (no fees on transactions that cost them money), so I think $26m is a pretty good number.

I do want to keep the trial short, however this is a user-facing product for small businesses and I want to allow for some time for the customers to become familiar with my service before the business makes a decision on buying it.
