That's what I thought in my 20s and 30s. View flipped after that. Do your chores yourself as much as your time allows instead of jumping to pay someone to do it. There are other benefits not discussed here beside the time cost factor.

I won't be worried about the speed of a Garbage collector. Rather focus on its efficiency. Actual work done per cycle per byte. Collectors can run on a separate core and show double the speed, but then you have to halve the total numbe

We need a search engine that prioritizes ad free sites over ads. The less ad a site has, the higher it will be ranked. And you will automatically get rid of all search spam following this one rule.

First thing I looked for is how long does it takes to delete a document from the index. Looks like it rebuilds the whole index periodically and that's very processor intensive. The delete will be reflected after a rebuild.

I am planning to alter the PHP's parser so that $ is used for constants while variables are $ less. Simply flipping the use case will make it so much sane. Not getting the time.

Pointers. Nearer to the core. In assembly it's all pointers, pointers and pointers. C having better support for pointers makes it nearer to how the processor works, compared to other languages.
