(Not Mapbox [1], but) have you looked at https://www.qwant.com/maps/ ? Looks and feels a bit like Google Maps. I don’t know about traffic data, though. [1]: Qwant uses https://openmaptiles.org/

Taking 3D x-ray scans with 10 μm voxel size is achievable fairly easy [1]. I work with (desktop) microCT scanners and routinely image (biomedical) things with a voxel size of 1 μm. The voxel size in the linked publication is 19 nm, which is

On Android, take a look at StreetComplete. Organic Maps has ‘casual’ edit features on both Android and iOS. On iOS nothing beats Go Map!! A complete list can be found at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Comparison_of

Honest question: Is Google Maps much better than OpenStreetMap in India? I have the luxury to live in central Europe, and here both are much, much closer in amount of detail.

OpenStreetMap data is probably the best geographic data you’ll find all around the world. Which region are you speaking about?

OpenStreetMap has all the curbs, sidewalks and crosswalks, too. They are not rendered in OSM Carto [1], but show up in the data, when you click on the edit link, or load the region in JOSM [2]. Here's a screenshot of the region in JO

Chemotherapy is fighting cancer with drugs, not radiation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemotherapy Often, the fight does involve radiation therapy in addition, though!

Classic tomography does not necessarily use IR light. One needs radiation that penetrates the object to be imaged, hence X-rays.

Nitpicking detail; the standard belt-scanners don't give you 'one' projection, but have (most probably) a linear detector with a (nearly linear) x-ray source pointed at, so they give you a slit-scan image, which is not one pr

There are CT machines at airports: https://petapixel.com/2019/10/21/beware-new-3d-airport-scann... Technically, one can also get a (simple) 3D model of something with 'linear tomography', e.g. when

The obvious answer is obvious, but I kinda hope that this would have trained their model a bit. I do get ‚valuable‘ mentions from time to time, so it’s still worth checking.
